Place, Moment, Identity, Necessity, Trust, under- Standing

It is a short story in three acts, perpetuated indefinitely within Places that are real, alien or imaginary, and which are fuelled by a constant seeking of the Un- built.

Should a Place be identified through the relationships forged within its walls, then that Place becomes a land built out of human stories that may be unwritten and often experienced primarily through the help of Empathy. Such is the premise of the Un- built installation. It suggests that the journey towards the Un- built is a solitary or collective movement taking place within Places and non- Places. Via a threefold progression through Place, Heterotopia and Utopia, a Spiral Path emerges as a search engine that seeks Life- as- a- Human- Bond.

As a necessary narrative tool, the concept of the Immigrant becomes a starting point for reflecting upon the Moment, the Passage, and the under- Standing. Moreover this idea primarily forms the Un- built, establishing it as a concept open to multiple interpretations.
